Combustion boats are elongated, open crucibles used to hold samples during ashing, calcination, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and elemental analysis in tube furnaces and analysers.
Labmina manufactures alumina combustion boats in both flat-bottom and round-bottom forms, from 0.2ml up to 175ml, in 99% high-purity alumina rated to 1600°C. We also stock boats with single or double holes for sulfur and carbon analysers.
